If you’re over 55 and still working, you’ve probably thought about how you want the next ten years to look. You may want to stay in your corporate job, do something different, or build something of your own. You may also be quite uncertain about which of those makes sense.
I write about taking more control of your work and life, and building options while you still have time to choose. AI runs through much of what I write because I’ve found it useful in my own work and daily life. Learning to use it well can help you get more value from the experience you already have, and give you more room to decide how you spend your time.
What does that mean in practice? Sometimes I’ll write about what happens to experienced people inside large companies, and the choices we face towards the end of a corporate career. Other times I’ll share a practical AI workflow or a tool you can try in your own work or daily life, with an explanation of what it helps with and what you still need to check yourself.
I spent much of my career at Nokia and Intel, after starting out as an officer in the Finnish Defence Forces. Today I work independently and live between Spain and UAE. I use AI in running my business and managing everyday things, and I write from what I’ve tried, what has worked, and what I’m still learning.
You can expect my honest view, also when it is not flattering - to you, to me, or to the companies we worked for. I’m in the same stage of working life I write about, and I have plenty of my own decisions still to make.
